A few goals:
- Keep studying Spanish like crazy.
- Raise my grades here in Spain.
- Send postcards/messages/packages to family back home finally (so if you're reading this, just know there will be something on it's way soon!)
- Try not to get too behind in blogging.
- Probably most importantly, learn all the words to the Macarena.
I have some more posts and pictures from vacations to put up, but they'll have to wait until next weekend. School starts up again tomorrow... Here's to a great start of the rest of the year!
What does being 17 feel like without a new pair of red-and-white striped koala pajamas? Luckily, I don't know. Buckets of love from Spain to all of you back home. ❤
I realize this blog makes me look a little obsessed with koalas... oh well. |
Better koalas than raccoons, right???
ReplyDeleteGreat PJ's, Amy! Who gave them to you?
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad I found your blog! I'm a 17 year old girl from Sweden and I think I want go to Spain after summer. I have a few questions if you don't mind -- how was your spanish skills before you went to Spain? Have they improved a lot during the months you've been there? How long time did it take you to get used to the language and understand most of what people say? What's math like there? I guess it's different in different cities and schools but what's it like for you? Is it a lot of talking from the teacher or is it basically just assignments to do during class?
ReplyDeleteIt would be very nice if you could answer either in a comment on my blog (miserableandmagical.blogg.se) or my e-mail Tiildaa@gmail.com. I think the e-mail might be easier for you since the blog is in swedish. ;)
If you don't have time to answer, I totally understand. :)
